Pilgrim's Progression 2004

November 19, 20, 21

Come join us for a weekend of contras, squares,
and HOT music in Lawrence, Kansas

With caller Suzanne Girardot and music by the Foghorn Stringband

Suzanne Girardot's enthusiastic and clear teaching and calling have made her a favorite on both coasts. When she calls, she projects her love of traditional dance and music to create an exciting and varied evening. She is also well known as a clogging teacher and has performed with several groups in the Seattle area.
"The Foghorn Stringband, (Caleb Klauder, PT Grover, Brian Bagdonas, Kevin Sandri, Stephen "Sammy" Lind) if you ask me, is one of the greatest new things in old-time music. All they have to do is play, and the power surges straight through your own chest. They are supertight, are major monster players, and they don't do anything weird to the music — they let their own musicality and the tunes speak for themselves."
—Molly Tenenbaum, The Old-Time Herald
