Friday, February 17
Friday Evening
8:00-11:00 p.m. $10 Evening Contra Dance (7:30pm beginner lesson)
at New York Elementary School
with caller Jerome Grisanti, and
live music by the Euphoria String Band
11:00 p.m. After-dance Party at Joe and Susan's

Saturday, February 18
Saturday Afternoon
3:00 - 5:30 p.m. $8

Workshop: Mechanics of Contra Magic
at New York Elementary School
Led by Jill Allen and the Dire Ducks
3:00pm All-musician jam with specific tips/info about playing for dances.
Led by the Dire Ducks.
4:30pm Dancers join in,
with caller Jill Allen and
music by the Dire Ducks and the musician workshop attendees.

Break for dinner

Evening Contra Dance (7:00pm beginner lesson)

Fine Print: There is no pre-registration (we have dancing space for all). As different parts of the weekend are organized by different organizations, pay at the door for each event. No partner necessary. Wear clean shoes appropriate to dancing. No hard black heels, no shoes that tend to carry gravel in their treads, no cowboy boots. No smoking or alcohol in buildings. Supervised children only.
